Dr. Laura Hambley is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist based in Calgary, Alberta. Laura has over 13 years of experience providing organizational consulting to public and private organizations in Canada, as well as internationally. She has gained experience both through internal roles and as an external consultant in a wide range of organizational settings.

Her consulting work has included leadership development and selection assessments, team building, career planning, training, conflict management, development planning, leadership coaching, leading from a distance, and WORKshift consulting, competency modeling and organization surveys. She takes the time to understand each organization’s unique culture and needs, and enjoys forming collaborative working relationships with her clients. Her combined understanding of people, along with business needs and drivers, allows her to provide practical solutions to her clients’ HR challenges.

Laura completed a Master’s in Counselling Psychology (1999) and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (2005) at the University of Calgary. She enjoys supervising and teaching as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary.
